POCKETRY · BLACK LAYERS CORP.

Terms & Conditions

1. The current service

These terms apply to Pocketry and its landing page, operated by Black Layers Corp., Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They supplement the Black Layers Terms of Use; these specific terms describe Pocketry where the services differ. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Pocketry is in internal testing, distributed through TestFlight to invited phones. It generates SwiftUI code, submits it to Apple’s Macs for building and testing, and returns source code, screenshots, and a checklist. Email sign-in, paid plans, delivery of generated apps to your own iPhone, and App Store publishing are not available today.

2. Invitations and free builds

The early-access button opens an email. Sending an enquiry does not guarantee an invitation or a launch date. Test access requires us to approve your phone.

The current offer is three free builds per approved user, without a card or a personal AI key. Build availability and capacity are limited. After the free builds, developers may supply their own Claude API key and are responsible for charges under their Anthropic account. Pocketry has no paid subscription or advertised plan price at this stage.

We may adjust testing capacity and future offers, and will explain relevant changes. Do not bypass approval or free-build limits by impersonating another person or manipulating install identifiers.

3. Your ideas and generated code

You retain any rights you already hold in your submitted ideas and materials. You give us permission to process and share them with the service providers described in the Pocketry Privacy Policy as needed to build, test, revise, and support your app.

You may inspect and use the generated code returned for your app, subject to applicable law, third-party licences, and AI-provider terms. AI output may resemble other output, contain errors, or include material with separate rights. We do not promise that generated code is unique, exclusively owned, or free of third-party rights. These terms do not transfer ownership of the Pocketry product, branding, or platform to you.

You are responsible for having permission to submit materials and for reviewing generated code, dependencies, behaviour, security, and licences before distributing or relying on the result.

4. Responsible use

Do not use Pocketry to create malware, steal data or credentials, infringe rights, impersonate others, evade security controls, or violate applicable law. Do not submit another person’s personal or confidential information without a valid basis and permission where required.

Keep any personal API key secure. You are responsible for its use and any provider charges. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users and the service, address misuse, or manage internal testing.

5. Build results and publishing

AI-generated apps may not behave as intended. A passing checklist or successful test does not establish that every screen, requirement, security property, or device has been tested. Build times vary, and failures, queues, and provider outages can occur.

The advertised 4 minutes 18 seconds, 9 screens tested, and 5 of 5 checks passed refer to one completed Tally Counter build on 3 October 2026. They are not guaranteed results for your idea.

App Store publishing is not implemented. Any future submission will be subject to Apple’s terms and review. Black Layers cannot promise approval. Apple does not endorse Pocketry merely because its Macs are used for builds.

6. Providers and availability

Pocketry depends on Anthropic, Apple, GitHub, and Vercel. Their availability, policies, and technical changes can affect a build. Access to a provider through your own account is also subject to that provider’s terms.

Internal-test features can change or stop. Keep independent copies of any generated code you want to preserve. We will not describe a future feature as available until it is implemented.

7. Warranties, responsibility, and legal rights

During internal testing, Pocketry is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular use, or error-free output. Review the result before using it in a real business or distributing it.

To the extent permitted by law, the warranty and liability provisions in the Black Layers Terms of Use apply. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

8. Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these terms as Pocketry develops. The update date will change, and material changes will be communicated where required. Future paid offers will have their terms and price explained before purchase.

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory protections or jurisdiction rights that apply where you live.
